DO NOT ENTER THE SCENE

It can be hazardous to your physical and mental well being. Under no circumstances, should you enter the scene, whether it be your home, or a room in your home. The mental stress of the of the situation could be too much to handle mentally. Also in some situations, blood borne pathogens can exist in bodily fluids, and by exposing yourself to the area of the traumatic event, you could expose yourself and others to possible infections. Safety First.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CLEAN ANYTHING

Hire a professional cleaning company to do any cleanup or remediation. DO NOT CLEAN UP ANYTHING. Bodily fluids contain diseases and microorganisms that need to be cleaned and disinfected with proper equipment, chemicals, and expertise. Failing to do so can worsen the state of the room or home, or even worse, make you sick. The last any family member should have to do is clean a traumatic seen of a loved one.

PLEASE PROVIDE NEXT OF KIN INFORMATION

If you are calling on behalf of of a family, please have the legal decision maker's information. If you are calling on behalf of a friend or neighbor, please have the contact info of the homeowner,  or next of kin. We understand that it is a very hard time for them, and will we will do the very best that we can without inconveniencing them. We sometimes need to have paperwork filled out and signed by them, so having a form of contact with them is important and will help expedite the process.

HAVE INSURANCE INFO READY

Have the insurance company name and policy number ready if available. Upon calling us, our specialist will place a claim for you, to help alleviate some of the burden. In most cases, crime scene cleanup services are covered by basic homeowners insurance. If you do not have insurance, there are local state associations that will help cover the cost after a traumatic event has happened in the home. Our specialist will you determine which ones are applicable during the phone call.

BE READY TO EXPLAIN THE SITUATION BRIEFLY

Where & When did the traumatic event occur. What parts of the home or business was affected? Do you have an estimated square footage of the affected area? Having a brief description of the area will help speed up the the response time and ensure that we arrive with the required equipment, chemicals, and manpower. Please indicate when the events occurred, what parts of the home or business were affected, and if available, a rough square footage of the home or rooms affected.
